LegalMike at the Young Bar Congress: ChatGPT as assistant for tomorrow’s lawyer

During the Young Bar Congress, we demonstrated to 750 lawyers how ChatGPT can be used as a legal assistant. We gave insights into the possibilities and revealed the invisible limitations of this technology. We also demonstrated live how ChatGPT can be used effectively and safely by legal practitioners.

Highlights of our Demonstration:

• Reducing blind spots with ChatGPT.
• Presenting our Legal Prompting Guide.
• Crafting a liability clause from a beer mat.

We also gave a glimpse into the future of legal research. Our proactive AI assistant LegalMIke was showcased as a guiding tool to help lawyers refine their critical skills in practice.

We were inspired by the other speakers as well. Roderick Lucas from Moonlit.ai brought generative AI to life with clarity and originality, Mirjam van der Sluis shared her passion for AI at the City of Amsterdam’s legal team, and Ayca Szapora fascinated us all with her insights into neuroscience, communication, and human connection.
