AI Health Check: Keeping Up with the Latest Developments

A compact, one-hour digital inspection for legal professionals who want to know where they stand with AI. You will learn how generic AI actually works, what the AI landscape looks like, and why a legal AI armor is indispensable in your practice.

Who is this session for?

Just as your car undergoes periodic inspections, your AI usage deserves a check-up. Generative AI is developing at lightning speed, and clients are increasingly bringing ChatGPT-style documents to the office. The AI Check-up provides you with a clear picture in a short amount of time of how generic AI works, where the risks lie, and the role specialized legal AI deserves within that framework.

The session is suitable for all legal professionals. No prior knowledge is required. The AI Check-up is fully digital, lasts one hour, and costs €100 per person. This allows you to make significant progress in your AI literacy in a short time, without any travel.

4,000 legal professionals have gone before you, rating our AI training sessions with an average of 8.7

Our approach

The AI Check-up lasts one hour, takes place digitally, and is deliberately designed to be compact: significant insight in a short time, with room for your questions. Our instructors combine clear explanations with recognizable examples from legal practice. You will leave with an honest picture of where you and your firm stand.

01

How generic AI works

We explain how language models like ChatGPT arrive at an answer. Generic AI is designed to provide the user with a desired answer as much as possible. If you ask for an ECLI that doesn’t exist, the model will sometimes simply invent one. Those who understand this also understand why clients trust AI output so quickly: it sounds convincing and tells you what you want to hear.

02

The AI landscape

We outline the playing field: generic AI like ChatGPT, Copilot, and Claude versus specialized legal AI. You will learn why a legal AI armor is necessary: validated legal sources, verifiable answers, and safeguards for confidential client data. This way, you know which tool to use when, and when not to.

03

The role of LegalMike

We demonstrate how LegalMike was developed to provide legally responsible support, not to please. The workflow is designed so that you can quickly verify every answer, with source references and cited case law. Do you work in the Microsoft environment? Then we will also briefly show the LegalMike agent in Copilot. That is the essential difference from generic AI, and exactly what you need when a client sits down with a ChatGPT document.

04

Q&A

We will conclude with an open Q session. From confidentiality and professional privilege to specific situations from your own practice. This ensures you leave with a clear view of the landscape and a definite strategy for your firm.
